A few nights ago I convinced my wife to fish
North Ponds Park. It's usually not hard to convince
her to go fishing since she loves fishing almost
as much as I do. She needed convincing because last

I first fished Larkin Creek Pond (#3) a few weeks
ago. Since then I've learned that Larkin Creek actually
forms a number of ponds. I have seen 3, fished 2,
and I think there may be a few others yet to be

McKee Perry Shellhammer

Last week I fished with my 3 favorite fishing
buddies. My wife Crystal, her son (my "stuff"
son) McKee, and T-Bone who is still unborn. We fished
at Larkin Creek Pond. McKee hadn't cast a line in

Fishing "Latta Flynn Boyle"
Summer time is one of my favorite times because
the pan fish are spawning and the fishing is great.
At Latta Flynn Boyle the bluegill are large and
are ready to take almost anything that is thrown
at them. On any given summer night it's not unlikely
to hook into a dozen or so before the sun goes down.

Crystal's First Time On The Genesee
River
My wife Crystal and I got married at the end of
September in 2001. After our honeymoon I went back
to work on a Monday just to leave early the next
Wednesday because of some discomfort in my stomach
area. After dealing with the pain for a few hours
my wife decided it was time to call the doctor.
Fortunately for me she did. The doctor recommended
that I go to the emergency room. After being checked
out by the doctors it was decided that my appendix
must go. They scheduled the surgery and everything
went fine. The doctor told me not to lift anything
too heavy for a few weeks and not to take it easy.
A few weeks later at a follow up visit he said I
could do whatever I wanted as long as it didn't
hurt. So the next day my wife and I planned to hike
down the gorge and into the Genesee River. continue...
